About Four suns CSP Rescue & rehab

It all started when I got my first Shar Pei while working at a rescue in Western NY. After that first Pei, I was hooked for life. Since that first Shar Pei, I have spent countless hours studying the breed, its standards, faults, individual dogs, & pedigrees.  I needed a name for my Rescue. I came up with Four Sun's because of my four amazing boys who are the light of my life. Sadly, I lost my oldest in 2002, but I still have the three who help keep his memory alive. Dollar was the first Pei to start the Rescue.

 Employees of a Dollar General were putting food out for him, he was just skin & bones. Little did I know I would end up rescuing him and we would end up being the largest Shar Pei Rescue on the east coast!

Our goal is to rescue Shar-Pei that have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or surrendered to high kill shelters and are in

danger of being euthanized. We are committed to giving them the medical care they need, help them overcome their past, and to find them a loving home through adoption.
